Give Items
Moms and dads who participate in our parenting and prenatal classes are blessed with material resources they need for the baby’s first year. These resources are generously donated by people like YOU! We gladly provide a material tax donation receipt upon request.
Out of respect for the privacy of our patients, we can only accept donations at our Manassas Admin Center:

Please call ahead before bringing items. We are only able to accept new items. Thank You!
Material Donations We Accept
We gladly accept the following NEW items for use by our clients. For safety and legal reasons, we can only accept items listed:
- Baby clothes 0-1 year neutral color outfits, pajamas, onesies, etc.
- Neutral color baby t-shirts
- Neutral color quilts
- Diaper bags
- Diaper changing mats
- Baby toiletries: baby shampoo, lotion, diaper paste, bath soap, etc.
- Newborn baby toys
- New baby washcloths
- Receiving blankets
- Toiletries for mom; shower gel, lotion, etc.
- Pac and plays
Please note that many of our items are given to moms and dads before they know the gender of their baby, so neutral colors are the greatest blessing.
We Cannot Accept:
- Baby formula or food
- High chairs/seats
- Baby tubs
- Breast pumps
- Baby bottle nipples
- Car seats used or new
- Strollers new or used
- Cribs new or used
- Breast pads
- Sanitary napkins
Planned Giving
Make Life First part of your legacy through planned giving. We partner with a trusted financial advisor who can help with your transactions. You can give through stocks and mutual funds. You can also give through your retirement accounts and meet the required minimum distribution.
Giving to Life First is a great way to avoid capital gains in appreciated investments. Lower your taxable income and get the full tax benefit.

- Know how the funds of an organization are being spent.
- Know what the programs you support are accomplishing.
- Know the organization is in compliance with federal, state and municipal laws.
- Restrict or designate your gifts to a particular project.
- A response to your inquiries about finances and programs.
- Visit office and program sites of an organization to talk personally with the staff.
- Give without being high-pressured by the organization.
- Know the organization is well managed.
- Know there is a responsible governing board and know who those board members are.
- Know all appeals for funds are truthful and accurate.
